Specific Job Description POSITION WILL CONSIDER CANDIDATES WITH PREFERED WORK LOCATION AT ANY LOCKHEED MARTIN FACILITY . MAJOR LM FACILITIES INCLUDE , BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO: DENVER , COLORADO ; ORLANDO , FLORIDA ; VALLEY FORGE , PA, FT WORTH , TX; BETHESDA OR ROCKVILLE , MD; SUNNYVALE , CA OR MARIETTA , GA.

POSITION IS NOT FOR A FULL - TIME TELECOMMUTER . This position is for an entry level Systems Engineer working for Lockheed Martin Enterprise Business Services (EBS) and supporting EBS customers. An entry level Systems Engineer assists in ensuring the logical and systematic conversion of customer and/or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints.

Opportunities often arise to review, verify or validate products developed by others. A continuous learning environment should be anticipated under the guidance of a senior staff member. Job duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Performing functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications by utilizing systems engineering, integration and analysis principles.

Interface with the functional EBS groups and customers as required to deploy new technologies, resolve issues, conduct research and provide insight on implications of new technology. Communication consists of using state-of-the-art collaborative activities designed to ensure consistency of process and delivery.

The position requires the ability and willingness to work flexible hours and travel as required. Standard Job Description Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems.

Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal.
