What you need for this position:
- Licensed P. E.
- Mechanical Engineering degree (BS required, MS preferred)
- 10 years of experience overall; must have a strong understanding of energy efficiency measure application in commercial building systems
- Experience in energy efficiency
- Experiencewith energy audits
- Experience with commissioning
- Experience with HVAC design
- Expertise with Excel and Word is required; must have experience building simulation programs and macro programming,
- P. E. registration is required
What you'll be doing- You will:
- Act as both a project manager and a working engineer
- You will mentor junior staff and lead project teams
- Act as Commissioning Authority for new construction, major renovation and retro-commissioning projects
- Develop commissioning plans
- Lead commissioning meetings
- Perform design reviews and construction site observations
- Perform installation verifications
- Develop functional test procedures and conducting functional performance tests
- Write commissioning reports
- Conduct building simulations
- Detailed project scheduling
- Oversee all aspects of a project including scope, schedule and budget
