The Chief of Medicine is responsible for clinical supervision and leadership of clinical providers assigned to internal medicine and all of its subspecialties. He/she is also required to be a clinical leader and provider with experience to assess clinical competence and current best practices.

The Chief of Medicine is responsible for oversight of internal medicine structure, including out-patient clinics, inpatient wards, and supporting infrastructure. This job is responsible for supporting and growing an academic environment with strong emphasis on education and research.
