Title: Audit Manager - Capital Markets - Mortgage Banking Location: US-NY-New York-245 Park Avenue / 03360 Job Number: _120074386 Department Description The JP Morgan Chase Audit Department is accountable to the Audit and Examining Committee of the Board of Directors, the Office of the Chairman, senior management and our global and local regulators. The department has over 700 auditors, located in key locations across the globe. The Audit Department is responsible for assessing the adequacy of the control environments across the firm's lines of business. This is achieved through a program of audit coverage which is performed and managed by a team of financial business and integrated technology specialists.Position Description The Mortgage Banking Senior Auditor will be responsible for risk assessment, control identification, development of audit testing, completion of audit work and ongoing continuous monitoring activities primarily in the Capital Market and Risk Management functions.

Qualifications: Responsibilities: * 6 years of audit and/or Capital Markets experience, including roles as a project lead * Stay up-to-date with evolving industry and regulatory changes impacting the business.* Working understanding of operational risks and related controls.* Basic knowledge of Information Technology control concepts.* Works well individually, and in teams, shares information, supports colleagues and encourages participation.* Strong skills in time management, problem solving, written and oral communication.* Strong communication and interpersonal skills required with ability to present complex and sensitive issues to senior management* Proven ability and desire to learn quickly, be flexible, and think strategically.* Proven ability to be able to multi task, complete projects on time and on budget, and be able to adapt to changing priorities.* Enthusiastic, self motivated, effective under pressure.* Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or other quantitative discipline.
